The Cycle To Work Scheme

The Cycle to Work Scheme is a government-supported scheme designed to help you save money on a new bike and spread the cost of the bike over monthly tax-free instalments.

Your employer purchases a bicycle and leases it back to you. Your employer will then deduct the costs from your gross salary. You will pay less tax and National Insurance as the deductions are from your gross salary.

The amount you save will depend upon your salary; savings can be up to 42% for higher-rate taxpayers.
You can work out your savings below with the Green Commute Initiative Calculator (available on desktop computer, not via mobile).

We have partnered with the Green Commute Initiative (GCI) as our sole provider for the Cycle to Work scheme. The scheme provides the following benefits: - Low commission – only 5%. This is added to the cost of the bike, but offset by the savings the scheme provides. Find out how much you will save on the calculator below. - No upper limit on the value of a bike. - Ease of use. - For more information on our partner scheme, visit the Green Commute Initiative website at:
How to buy a bike using the Cycle to Work scheme::
Choose a bike, colour, and options. Call or email to arrange a test-ride and configure your bicycle in person, or, alternatively we can order a bike to your specifications via phone or email. We'll generate a written quote that you can pass along to your employer for approval. After approval, your company will either submit a form to GCI, or give you the opportunity to submit your own form directly on the GCI website. GCI will provide you with an order number and a PIN code. You give us the PIN code and we order the bike. Once your bicycle arrives we’ll build it up and invite you to a hand-over session where you will ride away with a big grin and your lovely new bike.
